So many people are trying to get stronger so that God can use them. But the Lord told Paul, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. It makes no logical sense, and yet it is the secret of a life of faith. In this message we look at 2 Corinthians 12:9, why Paul could boast gladly about his weaknesses, and why staying in tune with your total dependence on God keeps you right in the ranks of His grace.
Then I share a personal testimony. God stirred my heart with Malachi 4 to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children. I had no money, no team, and no idea how it would happen, only a word from God. The enemy attacked me day and night, but God provided every step of the way and showed up powerfully as thousands of fathers, sons, and mentors gathered in the wilderness. We have this treasure in jars of clay, hard pressed on every side but not crushed, to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
Takeaway: Stop waiting to get strong enough. Step out in faith, set a due date, and let God's power be made perfect in your weakness.
Scripture (NIV)- 2 Corinthians 12:9-10: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+Corinthians+12%3A9-10&version=NIV
- Hebrews 11:1: Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews+11%3A1&version=NIV
- Hebrews 11:6: And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews+11%3A6&version=NIV
- Malachi 4:5-6: “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.”https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Malachi+4%3A5-6&version=NIV
- 2 Corinthians 4:7-11: But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2+Corinthians+4%3A7-11&version=NIV
- Philippians 3:8-10: What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ, yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death...https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians+3%3A8-10&version=NIV
- Philippians 4:13: I can do all this through him who gives me strength.https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians+4%3A13&version=NIV
*Note: in the teaching I quote Hebrews 11:1 as "being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see," Malachi 4:6 in the familiar "turn the hearts of the fathers to the children" wording, Philippians 3:8 as "I consider dung," and Philippians 4:13 as "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." The NIV text is shown above.*

Are you tired, worn out, done in? Jesus never said, get yourself together first and then come to me. He said, come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. In this message we walk through Matthew 11:28-30 line by line. We look at what it really means to be weary, what it means to carry a burden, and why Jesus is the answer to both.
Then we look at the yoke. A yoke is never worn alone. When you yoke yourself to Jesus, He walks right beside you, He leads, and He is gentle and humble in heart. We talk about becoming His disciple, holding to His teaching, and letting Him lead you beside quiet waters. His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
Takeaway: Stop pulling against the yoke. Come to Jesus today, let Him lead, and find rest for your soul.
Scripture (NIV)- Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+11%3A28-30&version=NIV

3 Things You'll Learn
Why the season of prophetic warning is over, and why this transition is harvest time for those who love God.
What Proverbs 1 reveals about wisdom crying out in the streets, complacency, and the bitter fruit of living our own way.
How Psalm 91 promises shelter, rescue, and protection for those who abide with the Most High and trust in the name of Jesus.
Description:
The warnings are over. It has all begun. Greg Lancaster says the season of prophetic warnings has turned into a season of fulfillment, and the exciting news is that the best days for the church are ahead. Not a building or an organization, but people who love God and want to tell others that God loves them and has a plan for their lives. Drawing on a conversation between Rick Joyner and Jim Bakker, Greg encourages listeners to prepare spiritually as well as practically, because neighbors without their screens will be ready to read anything you give them. This is soul-winning time, and even the refugees coming across borders are an open door for the Gospel.
Greg walks through Proverbs 1, where wisdom shouts in the streets and cries in the public square. God's goal is to share His heart with us and make us wise, but many mock His counsel. Greg explains that God's laughter is like a parent chuckling when a child who insisted on walking alone falls down, then holding out a hand again. Those who refuse Him eat the bitter fruit of their own way, like Israel demanding quail in the wilderness. The great danger in America is complacency, and the fear of the Lord is simply knowing that God is God.
Then Greg turns to Psalm 91. Those who abide in the shelter of the Most High will find rest, and His faithful promises are our armor and protection. Do not live in dread. You may see trouble fall around you, but it does not have to come near you. Dedicate your home to God, practice calling on the name of Jesus, and trust Him to rescue those who love Him. Greg points listeners to the free abiding plan at iAbide.org and closes in prayer for confidence in the power of Jesus' name. Scriptures referenced include Proverbs 1:20-33, Psalm 91, Numbers 11, Proverbs 9:10, Matthew 28:19, Ephesians 6:16, Philippians 2:10-11, Hebrews 11:1, and 2 Corinthians 5:8.
Notable Quotes
"It's going to be the greatest days for the church, meaning not a building and not an organization, but for those who love God."
"Some people live in dread and regret. They regret yesterday and they dread tomorrow and they're never living in the day. God is in the now."
"Just because that happens to them, or happens to that city, or happens to that government, or happens to that business, does not mean it's going to happen to yours."
"There's power in the name of Jesus."

Why the church is good but religion, a form of godliness without God, has to go.
What a simple, Spirit-led church gathering looks like: sharing a meal, prayer, testimonies, worship, teaching, discussion, and serving one another.
How small gatherings of believers who truly love each other multiply like a vine and prepare the church for the days ahead.
Description:
The church is good, but religion has to go. Greg Lancaster explains the difference between Christianity and religion, which tries to mimic the Christian life without Christ. It is a form of godliness with no relationship with God. Greg shares a night vision the Lord gave him of a large congregation where dark things were coming from the pulpit, a sobering picture of what Paul warned Timothy about. He also points to George Barna's book Revolution and the question of what would happen if a traditional church started preaching the kingdom of God.
Then Greg walks through what it looks like to be the church. His family set aside a specific day and time to gather and wait on God, and soon neighbors began coming over to seek wisdom. He describes a simple pattern: everyone brings a little food and eats together, someone opens in prayer, people share what God has done in the past week, and the group moves into worship. Children are blessed and taught at their level, the adults and teens receive a teaching from the Word, and a time of discussion follows where spiritual gifts can flow. Someone helps clean up, because it is about serving each other, and members who are traveling can still watch the same teaching online through the Vine Fellowship Network.
We cannot play church anymore. With persecution here and coming, we have to really love one another and live life together. One gathering produces another, like a vine and not a flower pot. Greg shares how miracles, dreams, visions, and the fear of God came as they gathered this way, and invites listeners to the Spirit-Filled Vine Seminar at VineSeminar.org. Seating is limited. He closes in prayer that God would free His church from religious captivity, end abortion, send revival, and bring a Third Great Awakening. Scriptures referenced include 2 Timothy 3:5, Ephesians 6:12, 1 Timothy 4:1, and Luke 16:8.
Notable Quotes
"The church is okay. Church is good. But religion has to go."
"We know how to go to it. How can you go to what you really are? All you can do is truly be."
"We can't play church anymore. We gotta really care for each other. We have to really love each other."
"He compared us to a vine, not a flower pot."

How Jewish families from North America are making Aliyah to Israel, even while the nation is surrounded by enemies.
Why this return is a living fulfillment of God's promise to gather His people, from 1948 until today.
What God's promise to send fishermen and hunters reveals about His love and His specific plan for the Jewish people.
Description:
You would think the last place anyone would want to move is a nation surrounded on every side. Yet Jews from America and around the world are choosing to go to Israel, and some say it is one of the safest places to be. Greg Lancaster talks about prophecy and how the Lord promised to gather His people, a promise we saw take place in 1948 with President Harry Truman's recognition of Israel and that continues today.
Greg shares a CBN News report from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, where nearly 30 families with 75 children arrived with Nefesh B'Nefesh, the organization that has helped tens of thousands of North American and British Jews make Aliyah. A 19-year-old from Detroit arrived to serve in the Israel Defense Forces as a lone soldier, and a family followed the daughter who paved the way two years earlier. Generations prayed "next year in Jerusalem," and these families are living it. Rabbi Yehoshua Fass explains the beauty of an immigration that is a choice rather than an escape.
Greg rejoices in this fulfillment of prophecy happening before our eyes. God said He would send fishermen and hunters to bring His people home. God loves the Jewish people and has a specific plan for them. Scriptures referenced include Jeremiah 16:16 and Isaiah 11:12.
Notable Quotes
"God's word is coming to pass as Jews, even in America, are going back to Israel."
"This is so exciting because you're seeing the fulfillment of prophecy."
"God loves the Jewish people. God has a plan in store, a specific plan."

How a military veteran whose back was crushed by an 800-pound missile was healed after prayer in the healing rooms at Bethel.
Why the same price Jesus paid for our sins also paid for our healing, like a bank account that has been sitting there all along.
Why nothing is impossible with our Father, and how anyone can become the Lord's today.
Description:
Twenty-five years ago, an 800-pound missile fell on a soldier during one of the wars he served in. It crushed his lower back, left him with two metal plates in his spine, and he could not even bend over. Greg Lancaster shares this veteran's testimony from Bethel, where he came up from Portland with his wife and went into the healing rooms to receive prayer.
After the prayer, he noticed he had no pain at all. That evening, when his wife rubbed his back as she always did, she could not find the plates. Now he can reach back and feel nothing but spine. He gives all the glory to Jesus, who paid for it more than 2,000 years ago, and says he simply tapped into a bank account that had been sitting there for him all along. God overdoes it, and His heart overflows.
Greg rejoices with this soldier and reminds us that even when a nation struggles to take care of its veterans, God took care of him. Many Christians have confidence that their sins are forgiven, and that same blood paid for our healing as well. Nothing is impossible with our Father, the God of possibilities. Good things are in store for those who are His, and if you are not His yet, you can make that decision today. Scriptures referenced include Isaiah 53:5 and Luke 1:37.
Notable Quotes
"He paid for it over 2,000 years ago, and I've just somehow tapped into my bank account that's been sitting there."
"God is a God that overdoes it. His heart overflows."
"Nothing is impossible with our Father. He is the Father and the God of possibilities."
"That same blood paid for our healing as well."

How Muslim converts to Christianity in Sweden faced deportation and death threats, and what their stories teach us about the cost of following Jesus.
Why officials struggled to tell the difference between relationship and religion, and why an authentic relationship with Jesus is the only thing that will stand under persecution.
Why the Gospel is good news: you don't have to die for God, because Jesus died for you and rose again.
Description:
Whoever controls the narrative controls the culture. Greg Lancaster shares a CBN News report from Stockholm about Faisal, a man from Pakistan who stopped believing in Islam after arriving in Sweden, came to Christ, and was baptized. Then the Swedish migration board ordered him deported, which would have split up his family and put his life in danger, because his relatives now saw it as their duty to kill him. The report also tells of Herman, a former teacher who was kidnapped in Pakistan and forced to watch a colleague murdered, only to have his asylum request denied.
Greg points out that the Swedish officials questioning these converts asked about church traditions and technical details, but these believers had simply met in a home, read the Bible, and fell in love with Jesus. Officials were trying to define a relationship with God by religion: buildings, titles, and nonprofit status. Greg compares this to the Pharisees, and to the day Jesus' own family came to take Him home, thinking He had lost His mind. If we may lose our jobs, our relationships, or our freedom for our relationship with God, we had better have one.
Greg also notes reports that about 80 percent of religious persecution in the world today is against Christians. He shares the Gospel clearly: Jesus loved us so much that He gave Himself as a ransom, was beaten, crowned with thorns, and nailed to the cross, and then walked out of the grave alive. The harvest is coming in a powerful way, even in difficult days. Scriptures referenced include Hosea 4:6, Mark 3:20-35, Mark 10:45, Acts 17:22, and Matthew 7:16-20.
Notable Quotes
"God died for us. You don't have to die for God. He died for you. That's why it's called good news."
"You can't explain your relationship with religion."
"If we're gonna be in prison for our relationship with God, we better have one."
"Jesus is alive and He wants to walk with you. He will forgive your sins."

Why economist and author Michael Snyder believes an economic collapse is coming, and why he says America, like ancient Israel and Judah, is not listening to the prophets.
How God's warnings come from a loving Father who disciplines His children and has good plans for those who turn back to Him.
How to prepare practically, emotionally, and spiritually, and why the greatest move of God the world has ever seen is still ahead.
Description:
Before the Assyrians took the northern kingdom and before Babylon came for Judah, God sent prophets to warn His people. They mocked them, jailed them, and threw Jeremiah into a pit. Greg Lancaster shares clips of Michael Snyder of the Economic Collapse Blog on the Jim Bakker Show. A former attorney trained to follow the evidence, Snyder brings hard economic data to a large secular audience, and he also listens to the prophetic word. He says America today, like Israel of old, does not want to hear the prophets.
Greg explains that these warnings come from a loving Father, not a taskmaster. God disciplines those He loves as sons, and He is saying, I have good plans for you, but you have to turn around. Greg discusses warnings about attacks on the power grid, the chain of events that started World War I, Pat Robertson's comments on the dollar losing its status as the world's reserve currency, and the story of King Zedekiah, who refused Jeremiah's warnings until judgment came. America left the plank a long time ago and is surviving on the mercy and grace of God.
Snyder encourages listeners to have cash on hand, store food, water, and supplies, settle in advance that they are willing to die for what they believe, and seek God with all their hearts. Do not look ahead with fear. God is raising up a remnant, and ordinary people will be part of the greatest move of God the world has ever seen, where the only one on the pedestal is Jesus Christ. Greg closes with a word about anointed worship and gifts laid down before God. Scriptures referenced include 2 Kings 17, 2 Kings 25:7, Jeremiah 29:11-13, Jeremiah 38:6, Hebrews 12:7, Colossians 2:8, and Revelation 2:7.
Notable Quotes
"I believe America left the plank a long time ago. We are surviving right now on the mercies and the grace of God."
"Don't look ahead with fear because we're not preaching a message of fear. There's hope in understanding what's happening, there's hope in getting prepared."
"In the move of God that's coming, the one that's gonna be put up on a pedestal is Jesus Christ."
"It's better to play an anointed bad song than it is an unanointed good song."

Why the refugee crisis is an open door to share God's love with people pushed out of Muslim nations.
How hundreds of Muslim refugees in Germany are turning to Christ and being baptized, even at great personal risk.
Why God sometimes brings the mission field to us, and why the best days for the church are ahead for those who walk with Him.
Description:
What if the mission field came to your doorstep? Greg Lancaster looks at the waves of refugees crossing borders and the fear many people feel. Many of these refugees are being pushed out of Muslim nations because they are Christians, or because they will not submit to Islam. When the noise and distractions of life are cut off, people are confronted with themselves and with God, and Greg says this is the perfect time to tell them how much God loves them and has a plan for their lives.
Greg shares a report from Germany, where hundreds of Muslim refugees from Iran and Afghanistan are coming to Christ and being baptized. One new believer says, "I feel like I am born again." Converts who are sent home can face persecution and even death for leaving Islam, yet the pastor believes the power of Christ is at work in their lives. God loves every human being on the face of the earth and does not want anyone to die without knowing Him.
Greg calls the church to shake itself out of religious routine and embrace the masses with the Gospel, remembering that Jesus called us to go into all the world and baptize those who believe. God desires communion with us and wants to share His heart with us. Those who choose another direction will eat the fruit of their own choices, but for those who are His, good things are in store. Scriptures referenced include Matthew 28:19, 2 Peter 3:9, and Romans 1:24.

3 Things You'll Learn
How a 7th grader named Jordan Wooley stood before her school board after an assignment told students that God is a myth.
Why making faith, and even the Pledge of Allegiance, "optional" shows what happens when a nation turns its back on God.
Why the question Jesus asked His disciples about who they say He is remains the test for every believer, and how to stand without denying Him like Peter did.
Description:
A seventh grade girl was told by her teacher to label God a myth on a graded assignment, and she refused to stay quiet. Greg Lancaster shares the testimony Jordan Wooley gave before her school board. She describes a classroom poll on whether God is fact, opinion, or myth, a teacher who marked anything but "myth" as wrong, and friends who went home in tears. Greg also walks through the text messages she sent her mother that day and a news report where school officials disputed her account, even as other parents backed her up and the paper itself showed it was worth 20 points.
Greg commends her boldness at such a young and impressionable age and encourages young people that this is their generation. He points to a sign in a Florida Panhandle school district telling students the Pledge of Allegiance is optional, and asks what would happen if we told our kids that cleaning their room or eating their vegetables was optional. When a nation denies that God exists, believers have to stand like this young girl did.
Jesus asked His disciples who people said He was, and then asked who they themselves said He was. Greg explains that eternity rests on that answer. Peter denied Jesus three times and God rescued him in mercy, but today the church is being persecuted around the world and each of us must decide whether we will stand. Greg also warns against division among believers: when God is moving, we must move together. Scriptures referenced include Matthew 16:13-16 and Matthew 26:69-75.
